Contract and documents
Your flex contract, your energy contract for both consumption and injection, your grid operator details, signed mandates and the technical drawing of your site. The energy contract matters from day one: it decides how far the battery can be optimised, and sometimes it should change first.

Grid operator
Your installer files the technical dossier and the test results with your grid operator, through their portal where one exists. We follow the file and step in when it stalls, so nothing sits waiting on a form.

Gateway
The device that connects your site to the markets. It is ours, we bring it, and it can go in before the battery is even hanging. Plugged in on site, configured remotely by us.

Installation
Your installer places the battery and connects everything the market connection depends on: inverters, meters, fixed addresses and settings. Not only the battery. This is where projects usually lose weeks.

Datasheet
One document that collects the technical details of every device on site. We need it to make the integration work, and without it the next steps cannot start.

Commissioning
Two inspections, not one. The manufacturer checks that the battery is installed correctly and your grid operator inspects the connection. Only after both does the administrative process start that ends in your connection contract and your limits.

Whose gateway is it, and does it replace my installer's work?
It is ours, and no. FlexHub supplies no other hardware and does no installation work. The gateway is how your site is read and connected to the markets. Everything physical stays with your installer, including the margin on it.
